The Spring Softball season is approaching, and registration for URA Softball is now open!

New this season: Every registered URA Softball player will receive a FREE pre-season skills clinic led by our school district’s high school softball team. URA is covering the full cost of the clinic as part of our commitment to providing a high-quality, development-focused program at no additional charge to families. We’re excited to continue growing our relationship with the high school program and see this as a great opportunity for our players to meet, learn from, and interact with former URA athletes who are now competing at the high school and travel level. It also allows our high school players to lead by example, showing our younger athletes how hard work, dedication, and a love for the game can help them grow both on and off the field.

The Spring season will run from mid-March through the first week of June, with practices beginning in the second half of March and games starting on April 11th.

Each team will typically have:

One weekday practice

One weekday game

One additional weekend game (usually Saturday)

Tentative weekday game schedule:

8U: Tuesday nights

10U: Wednesday nights

12U: Thursday nights

The 6U division typically practices on Friday evenings at Abby Miller Field at the URA Complex. Practice days and times may be adjusted once coaches and volunteers are identified and confirmed but the goal is to continue with Friday evenings. Games against other local teams in the league will be scheduled only when coaches feel players are physically and mentally ready, with a strong emphasis on fun, fundamentals, and overall player development.

To improve competitive balance, divisions 10U and older will hold player evaluations, and head coaches will select their rosters. Evaluation schedule details will be shared soon.

Please note: Requests to play with specific friends or coaches will not be honored.

As always, URA Softball relies on the support of our families. We are seeking Head Coaches, Assistant Coaches, Parent Helpers, and other volunteers throughout the season. Please consider helping in any way you can.

URA will provide jerseys, socks, and belts for all players

Umpires will be provided for all 10U and 12U games

Games will be played at Abby Miller Field (URA Complex) and at other locations throughout Chester County, including West Chester, Oxford, Octorara, EBYA, and potentially additional sites
