Welcome to the 2026 URA Girls Lacrosse Season!

We’re excited to kick off another season of fun, skill-building, and community with URA Girls Lacrosse. Our program focuses on teaching the fundamentals of the game in a positive, supportive environment—while helping players build confidence, teamwork, and a love for lacrosse.

Important Update for 2026: USA Lacrosse Membership Required

For the 2026 season, PAGLA, our governing league, has transitioned to a USA Lacrosse league. As a result, all players are required to be current USA Lacrosse members.
Please sign up for your USA Lacrosse membership prior to registering

• Annual membership fee: $35

• URA has reduced registration fees by $15 to help offset this cost

• You will need your USA Lacrosse membership number to complete URA registration

• If your daughter plays club lacrosse, she may already have this membership

URA Girls Lacrosse Registration

Season Details

• Who can play: Girls in Kindergarten through 8th grade who reside in the Unionville-Chadds Ford School District

• Family discounts available for multiple players

• Practices begin: Mid-March (weather and field conditions permitting)

• Practice schedules and locations will be communicated in early March

Practice Schedule (Tentative)

• Grades K–4: Monday & Wednesday evenings

• Grades 5–6: Tuesday & Thursday evenings

Games

• Grades 3–8: Begin March 28

• Grades K–2: Begin April 11

• Games are played on Saturdays

• Season runs mid-March through mid/late May

• League schedules are released a few weeks before the first game

Volunteers Needed – Get Involved!

URA Girls Lacrosse is powered by volunteers, and we’re always looking for parents and community members to help support and grow the program. No lacrosse experience required—we provide resources and guidance to help you succeed.

Volunteer Clearances

All coaches and volunteers who interact with players are required to complete a URA background check. No exceptions! 

• Clearances are valid for 5 years

• The process is straightforward and outlined on our website
